VDMA Precision Tools
Precision tools are machine tools that are used in all areas of metalworking, e. g. in the automotive, aerospace and electrical industries. The product range includes cutting tools, fixtures as well as die and mold making. The latter can be found on a separate website (wzb.vdma.org).
With approximately 57,000 employees, the precision tool industry is one of the largest sectors of mechanical engineering. The export ratio is over 45 percent.
The VDMA Precision Tools Association is service provider for around 180 member companies and the voice of the precision tool industry.
The organizers are pleased with the rush of participants. Those who want to take part should hurry with the registration, because the last still available places in the event rooms become less every day.

VDMA Precision Tools Association organizes standardization work for the product areas of its member companies in cooperation with experts from the companies. Responsible for standardization in this area is NA 121: DIN Standards Committee for Tools and Clamping Tools (FWS).
Members of VDMA precision tools can subscribe for exclusive half-yearly reports (in German) on the 10 most important automotive countries. The focus of this service is on the automotive industry and its suppliers.
The Japan Tool Reports of the Precision Tooling Trade Association inform about important industry-specific news from Japan. The newsletter is an exclusive service of the association for its members only available in German.
